By and large, it was great base for sightseeing in Santiago de Compostela, had much fun. The room we had included a microwave, central heating, and a coffee/tea maker. The staff were constantly very friendly. The location was prime, right by Botafumeiro.

The room was incredibly comfortable and the location was prime, plus I was a 10-15 minute walking distance from Glory's Portico. It was near to Santiago de Compostela.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located in the City-Centre district, just 200 metres from the Museum of Pilgrimage. It's also close to Plaza de la Quintana, Plaza de Platerias, and Casa do Cabildo, making it easy to explore the popular points of interest in Santiago de Compostela.
Noise: Stayed on a Saturday night, and unfortunately, the central location proved to be a double-edged sword. The street outside felt like a circus until the early hours of the morning, as revellers celebrated with loud music and shouts.

The location was straight fire, right in the heart of the old town. We were able to hit up the cathedral and all the dope spots nearby. The host was so chill and hooked us up with mad info about the city. The tour desk was clutch too, helping us plan all our craziness. It was the ultimate base for a wicked party weekend with the squad!
Only thing missing was a sick rooftop terrace to turn up the vibe even more. But hey, we made the most of the nearby pubs and clubs and had an absolute blast.

We stayed at a corner twin room at Hostal San Pelayo and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. As I had knee issues and needed walking sticks, the owner kindly allowed me to check in early. the location of the hostel is perfect, right near the cathedral and within walking distance of all the attractions in the old town. the owner went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, even driving us to the bus and train stations when our transportation didn't show up. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Santiago. cons: Nothing to fault 👍.

We had a fantastic experience at the tour desk in the hostel - they were incredibly helpful and provided us with excellent recommendations for family-friendly activities in Santiago. They even went out of their way to make sure our children would enjoy the attractions. It made our stay even more enjoyable and hassle-free.
In my wife's opinion, the hostel could benefit from having a dedicated play area for kids.

Great location near the cathedral and other attractions. The hotel has been recently upgraded and the tiny terrace is a nice touch. The staff, especially Sheila, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The noise from the nearby club/restaurant was unbearable at night. The loud music and partygoers outside made it impossible to get a good night's sleep.

The location of this hostel is mind-bogglingly amazing, just a stone's throw away from the breathtaking cathedral. The host, Sheila, is an absolute gem, always going above and beyond to help me out. I have dietary restrictions and she happily accommodated them for my tea and coffee. The upgrades to the property since my last visit are jaw-dropping, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job. It was a real treat to stay here after my Camino journey, especially at such a super affordable price. The small shower and tiny bathroom were a bit of a squeeze, but hey, no biggie. The best part is that the noisy nightclub underneath was closed, so I could get a good night's sleep. The bang on central location means no walking too far, and there are loads of pubs and restaurants nearby. Wi-Fi, laundry, flat-screen TV, kettle, cookware.
